The Burgas Chamber of Commerce was officially opened on November 7, 1907. From the mid-1890s until then, the Burgas area was ander the jurisdiction of the Varna Chamber of Industry and Commerce. First Chairman of the Chamber of Burgas was the industrialist and politician Ivan Hadjipetrov. ^[1]
