Burgas

Warehouses    EN

Author: ROUSSEV IVAN

The first grain warehouses Bourgas port were built before 1712. Long before the Bulgarian Liberation (1878) warehouses covered the entire Burgas coast. In the Russian report of 1878 it is indicated that they were made of stone, i.e. they were massive buildings. Owners of warehouses were as much as the Ottoman state (state grain stores) as large Burgas traders such as Arcadio Dimitrakopulo, Creo Trendafilov, Christo Dionisiyadis, Andon Kokinus, some are more: Lyas-Hasanov and Kemalova Maazel, Khalil-Pasha and Hussein-Pasha Maazel and others.
